So I've been thinking about building a home.  And, I've been getting into wood more and more.  I've seen more and more log cabins home coming along.  And I like them.

The great think about log cabins is that you can build them yourself, without 100 years of construction experience, that you'd need with bricks or concrete.

There are so many different designs and styles to go for.

These guys make log cabins in Cornwall and Devon.  There designs look great.  I spoke to them and they said that by far the most difficult part of a build is to get the planning permission.
